Happy with the shorts, I am a 38" UK size an fit as they should so that was a bonus, but for £30 would of expected a belt, even though was advertised without one, a little over priced for what they are, that's why a rated 3 star Comfy and light weight.Did great for a days mountain biking. Useful pockets all nicely securable so you don't drop keys/phones etc on a trail. I actually got these shorts from 2 different sellers at 2 different prices called 2 different names at almost the same time.I'm a contractor, I do all kinds of work.From dirty crawlspaces to roofing and everything in between.I bought some random shorts from Amazon, whatever looked good for me.I plan to work in them until they are destroyed.I'm 6'2" 200-220lbs and thin.I like my shorts to cover my knees at all times.These are a tiny bit longer than needed.They are comfortable in how thin and light they are, my favorite part.They haven't ripped yet.I've been wearing them to work alot.The material reminds me of parachute or hammock, but more velvety feeling.It seems strong, but probably melts in fire.Overall I like them.Slightly too long, and I ripped those drawstring out of the knee area on purpose because I knept kneeling on the ball part I was looking for some new shorts when I moved to Florida. Everything that I have ordered in the past has always been too small. I'm a 34-in waist and these fit spot on. Lots of room in the pockets with easy access. Love that. The belt it comes with is pretty cheap. I would rather spend a few more dollars to get something a little more substantial, a little thicker. It's basically just a small cargo strap and buckle. After you wear it for a while, the belt just folds up and becomes about the width of a rope in places. And if you want to replace with a different belt, the loops are too small to fit anything else. How about we make wider and more substantial loops, and give me a belt worthy of the shorts.They would get a five star rating with that improvement. For now, four stars is all I can give. I will try to update after I get some time and washes on them to see how durable they really are. The picture I have shows my original pair on top with the belt attached, it's got probably four washes, and lightly dried. The bottom pair is brand new and only washed once. They become a little bit softer but don't lose a lot of their color so far. They fit him perfectly! War ein Geschenk, ist super zufrieden! Great. Can I just say that I wear these shorts all the time. They look & feel great & they are lightweight. Easy to move in, wear them to work Gift. Not time yet Perfect compliment to my 5-11 tactical pants. Pocket pattern is the same, so I can keep my stuff organized the same way. Fit right out of the box, no adjustments needed, but I did measure four times. Very comfortable,24hr Update, had to remove two star for the buckles which completely disintegrated after 24 hours. For the price point one would have expected solid brass buckles or material more durable than the folded wire that was used. Fortunately I know a good seamstress and getting the buckles replaced is not a major problem, Lucky for me but maybe not for others. Use solid brass buckles. Eh, these are quality shorts. Except that i look like a gang-banger in them. I didn't know they were going to fit so loose. I would not buy these again because it's not my style You never go wrong with Levi. I had to send these back. They looked like really nice rugged shorts, but they were way too tight and 36" are usually a little loose on me. But the big issue was these are sold as 11 inch inseam shorts, when actually they measure out to only 10 inch. They looked and felt too short. I love Carhartt clothes and I hope they fix this issue.
