Shorts fit, and looked perfect! Everything I was looking for! Excellent product! I have bought maybe a dozen of these pairs and none of them have lasted more than a month. They are extremely thin and ripped very easy today I put a brand new pair on and within three hours to the belt loops are broken. I love the design material in the fit they are just poorly made and for $30 a pair they should last more than 30 days. I suggest looking elsewhere and not just a different retailer but a brand all together. These are perfect for lifting weights.I have no idea how good these are for running because I don' run. But I got these, and have used them in the gym, and just yesterday in a strongman competition, and I didn't notice them once. At no point while working out do you notice your gym shorts and that's a positive. When I reached for where my phone should be in my pockets, there it was. When I needed a deep squat position I didn't feel any resistance or catching. When I walked around or sat down I couldn't feel them. This is what you want, and is something I haven't experienced in gym shorts before. I got these as testers, and with a couple more pairs they will replace all other gym shorts I own.As for the length, they come to just above the knee, which is critical for them not catching on the knee. I think it's the best all-around length. If you NEED shorts to come below your knee, try these out anyway. You may be surprised at how good just above the knee shorts feel.The only reason I may own other gym shorts is if I decide I want some in 9" or 5", but if these were made in a 5" or 9", I would buy those as well.For comparison, I'm 5'6 and 180lbs, at about 18% body fat. These shorts are big butt approved, which is not all that common in gym shorts today. (I bought two other brands at the same time to try on, and they are both going back for this reason). I really like these pants for comfort and durability with thoughtfully designed pockets and knee pad system. They definitely run long. My waste was fine but I had to go two inches shorter on the length. I love every thing about these, aside from the pockets. So far, 3 of the 5 that I purchased haved had holes tear open in the pockets from the seams where they were stitched. Will have to stitch them better myself, but they are comfortable as ever and have great length to them. They fit my husband well & he loved them. They are a little edgy so if that’s not your style don’t bother. He liked the material and said they were comfortable. The shorts looks good and are comfortable. Plus the size was right. Great shorts for the price. The material is a little stiff but is getting better with washing. Gifted these, the shorts are thin material and the logos could have been done in someone’s basement.... but for the price they’re not terrible. Excelente. The shorts are so comfortable I'm so happy I purchased them and the color is so unique I wear a size 32 I ordered a medium and fit perfectly... lightweight comfy and stretchy would highly recommend I run the original version of these shorts as my go to shorts for everyday usage. As part of my EDC load out, I run a knife and flashlight in addition to some other things. These shorts don’t have the dedicated / separate utility pockets for knife as the originals - strike 1. These shorts don’t have as many pockets as the original - strike 2. These shorts belt loops are slightly smaller than the originals which makes belts with cobra buckles extremely difficult to thread - strike 3. Finally, the zipper design / issue as mentioned in other reviews really makes these unusable.About the only redeeming quality is the mesh panels that might improve airflow, but against all the other negatives - not worth it for y use case.Hope this helps others avoid the same mistake I made Ordered for husband since it was s good price for men’s swim trunks. He liked the design but said they were too big. I had to return. Your sizes dont match your chart The sizes run large which you can tell based on the description of sizes they are shipping from overseas. The phone pocket fits loose as well. The shorts material is pretty basic.
