Love it Pros:* Very soft/comfortable for casual wear* Fast delivery* Roughly half the price of Birddogs* XL size available for “larger” people 6’ and above.Cons:* The “Daddy Baby” name plate is a little awkward for an adult to wear. I realize I may not be the primary advertising target, but frat boys aren’t vying for knock off Birddog shorts. Maybe don’t embroider it in a contrasting thread? The font size is acceptable.* Belt loop addition recommended to hide elastic band. This would increase usability away from the gym for the khaki clones (Birddogs does this, it’s a nice touch).* Integral underwear sounds nice, but no matter how clean you stay during the day, (hopefully) you’re not likely to wear these shorts more than once without laundering them (common with Birddogs).* Not great swim attire. When material gets wet it becomes air tight and traps air creating an inner tube effect as you enter the water. The liner material is also air tight at this point, so the only way to expel the trapped air is to push it down and out of the leg opening. This results in a giant bubble that looks like you just made enough wind to push a sailboat. After the swim, the shorts continue to hold moisture making it cumbersome to dry off (common with Birddogs). Honestly this is right up there with my top 10 best purchases made on Amazon!Very feminine & hides the belly. The length is perfect & flatters my height (5’3). I ordered the size large because I like somewhat of a baggie look. This is actually a replacement because the first one I purchased somehow was damaged in the mail. It took less then 4 days to have a new one sent out. I am a 38 DD & I can’t stand any top that is tight in the bust area. Now many women may not feel that way but it is my biggest insecurity. Many tops I have purchased thru Amazon would be very nice if it wasn’t for the fact that they are too tight in that area so I end up sending them back. I am so excited I found this & I highly recommend ordering at least 2 to compliment your winter wardrobe! Sons are 16 and 13 and love them. Fit great. They can do yard work and work out in them. Light weight and breathable. Not made cheap. I like the fit. It looked great after a wash and dry. I will be testing the pants fully next week and will update if needed.Update. Did a week VACA. The pants performance was Excellent. They got wet, really wet, Hurricane Elsa wet. The pants did everything I was looking for. Zippers on cargo pockets worked out great. Cell phones and wallet was very secure and accessible. Nice, rare combo.Fit was good. A little big, yet I ordered them big.Just washed and dried. Same fit. Order right size.These are a "keeper." If your are trying to ditch the cargo shorts, but aren't ready for old man shorts, these are the ones you want. A little pricey but well worth it. The comfort of athletic shorts with the looks of a more dress up short depending on how you wear it. Will look good with a tshirt for a day at the beach, but also looks nice with a button down shirt. These shorts can really lighten your vacation packing. Extremely comfortable. Loose fitting and light weight Can't go wrong with Hurley men shorts. Good fit. Can’t complain great shorts PROS:- Nice color selection- Pockets are perfect for my needs; especially the little "key" type pocket on the right side of these shorts- Decent priceCONS:- Same size in different colors vary by 2 inches in the waist- Fits kinda of snug in the crotch area; even tighter with the shorts that are smaller by 2 inchesSUMMARY:- Originally I ordered the Purplish Gray. It fit OK; but definitely needed the belt. The second pair I ordered, was the "Khaki" (Sand) color shorts. I ordered the same size as the Purplish Gray ones ... but these were 2 inches shorter in the waist. Strange. They are decent shorts, but I am going to look elsewhere for other 3/4 length cargo shorts. Can't really recommend them because, every body is different. It may fit perfect for you; but it's not quite right for me. Perfect fit These are perfect for what they were intended for. Only down side which could be problematic....they are very see through...
