Looks nice, not tight but not to loose…goes with everything A last minute decision to go to the local Renaissance Fair for my birthday during their Scottish & Irish Weekend and I wanted to wear a kilt. I saw many listed at all price ranges, but I needed one that was available with Prime Shipping (actually next day shipping) and came across Damn Near Kilt "Em. I wear a jeans size 38" waist and went with the Large size kilt (the only available color at that size was black). With a belt and the two side straps adjusted it fits me perfect! It might look a little long in the picture I've posted (I'm just under 5' 10"), but as a first kilt I wouldn't want it too short. It looks very cool and a little edgey (my wife said I look like one of those English punk rockers! lol). Pair it with a vintage Clash or Sex Pistols t-shirt & boots and you're good to go! If you're looking for a traditional or formal kilt then this probably isn't for you, but if you just want to have fun at the Renaissance Fairs and look cool, then by all means order from Damn Near Kilt 'Em! They weren't ridiculously discounted, but even a little bit of saving goes a long way.He liked the shorts, his only complaint was that there's a "weird crease in the butt." Not sure exactly what that means, but I'm sure an iron can get any creases out.He's a waist size 38, and it fit him true to size. This sweater looks great on taller people. It was the right choice as it is fitted but not skin tight. It will look beautiful under sweaters and blazers. High quality, elegant piece to have...will order in more colors. Just got these a few weeks ago water replant but definitely keep they sprayed. Got the Cat. I bought this as a gift for my dad because he’s talked about getting a kilt in the past but has never gone through with it. With some help from my mom to get a waist measurement we were able to get the right size! It was helpful that this particular kilt has the multiple buttons for adjusting the fit allowing for a bit of error.He’s since worn his kilt to church and out on the town, hanging around the house, and Christmas parties. I think there will be more kilts from Damn Near Kilt ‘Em in his future now that we know his size. This was a perfect “starter” kilt. Great shorts from a classic brand. Grew up watching tennis and loving the Ellesse brand, so buying these shorts was a no brainer. Quality fabric that fits well while looking stylish. great fit and quality not to long, good material, i like the button zipper and self tightening hip adjustment, no need for a belt. love the color schemes.will be buying more. rothco is my preferred brand for great pants and shorts, Yeah ,I liked a lot ,just that I ordered right exact my size I choose have ordered a least one number bigger and I wear it at night to hang out it looks nice Looks and feels good. What concerns me is the waist is slightly tighter than expected for 34 and its 100% cotton. Expecting shrinking and might have to go back to the drawing board for shorts. I have bought 3 pair of these style pants. The first 2 pairs came and fit good and were obviously new. However the last pair that came today were washed and actually look as if they have been worn a bit. Maybe a bit of a discount may have been in order here
