I didn't think having a cellphone pouch inside the inner liner would be very beneficial. I also wasn't sure if I would like the cotton design since I assumed it would become much heavier as I sweat. I was wrong on both counts. These are quality shorts and I plan on buying more (I have 4 so far). The shorts do get heavier as you sweat. But even after a long workout, it never was noticeable until I took them off and felt how much sweat had been absorbed. At this point, I don't know about durability or colorfastness; however, will update this review should I find an issue.Being able to have a cellphone inside the inner liner was very convenient. When running, I never felt it could fall out and the pouch is big enough for my iPhone 11 Max with case. There are also pockets to put other things and with other running shorts I've owned, I've always been concerned that something could fall out without noticing. The depth of the pockets on these shorts greatly mitigate that feeling. The shorts are comfortable and well suited for use as working out or running. The liner is mire akin to bike shorts than to compression shirts. Don’t expect much compression. There is enough compression to keep you phone from slapping against your thigh when you run or perform full range exercise motions involving your legs. I like shorts with an integrated liner because that’s one less piece of clothing you have to wear, clean, or pack to the gym. They look good enough to wear out to dinner, and this is after a day of fun and sun at the beach. The material dries incredibly fast. I laundered these right after receiving and put them in the dryer with some other clothes to dry. After about five or six minutes I realized there was a shirt left accidentally in the washer, so I stopped the dryer to toss it in. These were on top and I grabbed them to see how dry they were (just for kicks) and they were almost completely dry. It wasn't a big load, and it was on low heat, but still. They don't really wrinkle, and if you live in a region where sweltering hot, humid days are the norm in the summer, these are pretty close to wearing nothing at all (or so the hubby says).A word of caution - these are THIN and will show some serious VPL if you order too small. There's zero camouflage to these shorts like a pair made of denim or a heavier weave of cotton so either going commando or wearing boxers or boxer briefs is the best bet. Otherwise, the fabric of these shorts is so thin that if your guy bends over, someone could see the outline of the brand name that's stitched into the elastic waistband of his undies. Perfect fit Fit perf! Just make sure to measure yourself against the key lol Bought these for my husband and they are super flattering…..except for the liner in the shorts is really loose so it doesn’t support him as needed while he is swimming. Haven't use the shorts yet but they seem like a good deal. Los que me gusto la comodidad y lo que no .e gusto que no venden el puro calzoncillo soló In my experience with O'neill shorts, they run a bit smaller than other similar brands, so you may want to order a size up (these are elastic/drawstring band so they're adjustable). They're great for hiking, camping, paddling, and swimming. I went with these over the regular board short style because they have multiple pockets. Very pleased with these. These shorts are so nice a nice shirt and you will not disappoint you will look really good I’m female, size 12 jeans, athletic build. I like my pants to sit a little lower on my hips so I got a size 34 and they fit so relaxed and perfect and the 19” length is also great. I like how versatile these shorts are, not only hybrid but the color and style is easy to match and dress up or down. Nice for the beach or a date. You can't beat these shorts for comfort for work, play, or whatever. They stretch in all the right places no matter how you move. I work in a hot environment and these stay cool and dry all day. I normally wear a 36" waist in jeans, but have learned that with these a 34" fits better, the 36" just seemed to loose on me. So glad I found these on Amazon, just cant seem to find them out in stores anymore. Will definitely buy again.
